We were visiting the Mill Bridge Village Camp Resort in Amish Country in Pennsylvania this fall. Steve Turtle, who was working camping at the campground asked us about our camper when he saw the nose solar array.
David offered him a quick overview of the entire camper, with all of its customizations, including the solar system. Steve asked Rosemary for some of her favorite features in living with a solarized camper.
It was a delight for us to visit with Steve on our trip. He gave a us a lot of tips for helping shoot videos and set up our web site. One of the things we’ve always loved about camping is the community of campers and campground staff–so many people are willing to lend a hand with their expertise!
One of the campground’s fun events in the last few weeks of October is the trick-or-treating. While we handed out candy to the kids, the parents were all quizzing us with questions about the solar nose array on the camper. We did the interview with Steve to help answer some of those questions for the campers who didn’t have a chance to take the full tour while we were camping there.
